     CHANGING STATES

a.
SOLID-----   HEAT ----    LIQUID

b.
LIQUID----  COOL----  SOLID
                                             FREEZE

c.
LIQUID----   BOIL ----   GAS

PROPERTIES OF SOLID:
v  Elastic: rubber (it can be stretched and it returns to its original shape)
v  Flexible: paper ( it can bend and does not break)
v  Fragile: glass ( it can break easily)
v  Strong: iron (it can support a lot of weight and force without breaking)

PROPERTIES OF LIQUID:
v  Viscous: honey ( it does not flow easily)
v  Volatile: perfume ( it evaporates easily)

PROPERTIES OF GAS:
v  When it’s compressed, the mass is the same but the volume decreases.
